School Day
School begins at 8.50, and there is a morning break of 15 minutes for all children at 10.45
Lunch is between 12.00 and 1.00pm
School ends for children at 3.10pm where children are collected from classrooms via the outside doors
Your child’s teacher will share a termly newsletter giving you times for PE or music so that you know when equipment is needed.
Children will enter EYFS in the term following their third birthday, and nursery session times are 8.45 to 11.45 / 12.15 to 3.15.
The doors to the Early Years Unit (FS1 and FS2) open at 8.45 to ensure a smooth start to the day.
Classroom doors are opened at 8.50 and are closed at 9.00 by which time all children should be in school.
Classroom doors are locked at 9.00am and children arriving late should sign in at the main school reception.
There is a daily assembly at varying times through the week. Parents and carers have the right to remove their child from religious education or from collective worship. They should first discuss this with the Head of School so that they can understand clearly how these areas are tackled in school. If they then wish to withdraw a child, this should be confirmed in writing.
