School Policies at Sandhill Primary
The Every Child Matters Academy Trust has established policies, procedures and practice that are shared across the Trust. These policies strengthen our school to school relationships, build on good practice and support our work as a collaborative group. As a Trust we recognise that schools are unique and diverse in nature therefore, in addition to Trust policy, our schools have the freedom to develop policies, procedures and practice to best facilitate outstanding education in our establishments.
Here are only some of the school policies we use at Sandhill. If you desire a paper copy of any of these or any further policies, please ask at the school office.

We are committed to providing a full and effective education to all pupils and embraces the concept of equal opportunities for all. For a child to reach their full educational achievement a high level of school attendance is essential. We will consistently work towards a goal of 100% attendance for all children. Every opportunity will be used to convey to pupils and their parents/carers the importance of regular and punctual attendance. |

Exclusions
Sandhill Primary is an inclusive school. We cater for all of the needs of the children within our care and support their families too. We believe that this supports and contributes to all pupils reaching their true potential. However, on occasions, we do need to address any significant dangerous behaviours in school, which may result in children being excluded from school. We would only ever do this as a last resort. |
